I have been producing photographs for businesses and magazines for over 20 years. In that time I've photographed petroleum products, trucks, warehouses, signs, furniture, executives, cowboys, gymnasts, cops, models, buildings, skylines, ships, seafood, cows, bottles, cans, tools, valves, sludge plants, refineries, oil traders, office staff, buildings, homes, and just about anything else you can think of that a business would need photographed. A sampling of these photographs can be seen by scrolling down this page.
I shoot all assignments digitally and deliver completed assignments either electronically or on cd media as jpg, psd, or tif files. To inquire about booking a photography assignment send an
Corporate event photography covers things like award presentations, ground breakings, customer/employee appreciation events, company dinners, etc. The most common way to cover these fluid events is with a portable on-camera flash, delivering the photographs as jpg files on a cd.
A less common but "classier" way to cover these events is to set up a backdrop and lighting, essentially creating a studio environment at the venue, and having attendees come to the photographer for an event portrait. The cost of this type of coverage begins at $750.
Whether you call them executive portraits, staff photos, publicity photos, or something else, these are portraits that people in business need for press releases, trade publications, company directories, company websites, and whatever else may come up.
I'm a location photographer, which means that I come to your place of business to do the portraits. For a traditional or conservative portrait, I usually will set up a background and lighting in a conference room or empty office. It normally takes about 90 minutes to set up the equipment for this, but once that is done each portrait usually takes less than 15 minutes.
I also do environmental and editorial executive portraits. An environmental executive portrait is fairly formal but without a photo back drop. Typically this style shows the subject sitting at a desk or conference table or standing in front of a wall of bound books. An editorial executive portrait is less formal and more like the photos of executives that accompany magazine articles, usually conveying a "real life" feel.

The thumbnail samples further up the page include a few examples of product photographs with elaborate set-ups or backgrounds but I get many more requests for products shot on a plain white background like these. I do most of these shoots at the client's location at my normal rates. However, I keep a small studio just for table top photography with a white seamless background and can do these shots at a flat rate.
To qualify for flat rate pricing the product has to meet some conditions including, but not necessarily limited to, the following:
If the product meets these conditions and no other special conditions apply the rate is $95.00 for the first shot and $40.00 for each additional shot. Depending on the nature of the products this rate may be discounted further if there are several (usually, more than 20).

Occasionally I'm contacted by out-of-town clients that need a Houston photographer but are unsure whether the location of their project is actually in the Houston area. This happens often enough that I thought this list of Houston area counties and cities would be helpful.
